“curious… just curious”

as I was studying today, something curious and funny happened

while reading my text

I heard a strange tapping sound

like the sound you hear when someone knocks lightly against the window

and it was coming from the kitchen

so when I went to check it out

I realise it was someone from upstairs trying to use a ‘hook’ attached to a string

to hook up this baby romper that had fallen on to my window sill

standing at a distance I was giggling at how the person tried frantically to get it

lifted it up and dropped it down

swing-ed it

and then

the ‘hook’ got stuck at the window handle

hahaha

so quietly I tucked on the string

released it from the window handle

placed the baby romper on the hook

tucked on the string on last time

before seeing it raise slowly and steady up

hahahahacrui

The Bucket List

a saturday for someone other than ourselves

Woke up at like 6 am and took the train all the way to Bedok

YAWN

but

still really excited about volunteering

So…

we

(meaning Oh, Phyllis, Tosh and I)

put together with 2 other ladies to clean up a grandma’s home

and as we were checking what was needed to be done

we came across this part on the parchment that stated:

ANY BED BUGS

and of cos

it stated

YES

ARGH!!!!!

but no matter

after wearing a mask and armed with a pair of rubber gloves

Tosh and I carried the

BB INFESTED bed and bedframe

to the dumps (STARTING TO GET PARANOID)

while the others started to clear the area

Oh and Phyllis chose to clean the bathroom

which I have to say

WAS HORRIBLY FLITHY

after much dusting, clearing, spraying repellents (esp for BB), sweating, paranoid-ing, mopping, scrapping, tossing and re-arranging.

we stood back

and I must say

we did a really good job

(pat on the back people)

and

the Grandma looked happy with the results too

though she did do something that pissed us off

or more like pissed off Oh and Phyllis

she pooped all over the clean toilet bowl (-.-)

*sigh*

but then again we can’t really blame her can we…

the six hours

were crazy

but
